Yup, literally diagnosed by my doctor. It sucks, really. I've been awake to see every sunrise and sunset. They aren't beautiful to me anymore, which is a shame. I'm extremely tired, my immune system is weaker, and I'm grouchy lol I have never been able to fall asleep. I crash. LOL
Is this due to stress or anxiety? I've got the same problem since some years, mainly because of lots of stress and worries I'm never able to fully 'evacuate' from my head. Being awake while everyone is sleeping is sometimes funny (I always have ideas and like to draw at night), but more and more annoying (it seems like my internal clock is locked on a different time zone ). And the weird fact is that I always feel sleepy in the evening but have lots of energy and feel motivated only after 1AM until early morning... >_<
Result: I don't sleep alot, generally less than 4 hours, feel tired almost during all the day (except at night) and the headaches occur more often...
I used to be awake all night, sleeping all day but now, I changed because of school & exams are coming up. Now, I go to bed around 7pm or much later - sometimes 4am - but then wake up early or 2pm at latest. It depends but if I wouldn't have my sleeping-meds, I could only sleep two hours & wake up again - not falling asleep another time - what's crap.
