How are you? Good? OK, here goes...
I would like to introduce my next creations available soon...
By experimenting in different artistic fields, I'm currently creating a theme for Windows 7, besides my next icon set and my drawings (with the help of many tutorials and some wonderful arts from DeviantART, on which I draw my inspiration...).
So, what to say about this theme?
For my first experience in this particular area (I've already created some themes for Windows XP, with the StyleXP application, when I was younger, some years ago...), I admit it requires a lot of free time and, sometimes is quite boring, especially when creating elements of the GUI with Photoshop.
This theme, called "Pastelia" (this name is likely to change during development), reminding the color of a lemon-meringue pie and sweet pastries, is specifically designed for be used with handmade icons (such my first two icons packs, "Lemonade At Work" and "O Sunny Day", or with others available on DeviantART, such as those created by *Raindropmemory...).
Well, pastel colors, with dominant colors of yellow, blue and pink will not please everyone, but it must satisfy all tastes, for everybody...
Currently, I haven't seen similar themes for Windows 7 on the Internet...
I mainly used yellow (mainly used for buttons, checkboxes, highlighting, scrollbars...), blue (for some buttons, interface elements...), pink (for some graphics effects and few buttons) and white (for the windows, taskbar and the start menu) pastels colors.
More seriously, I will not use this theme for my daily personal use, but, it is clear that this theme will primarily focus a targeted audiences, who love this art style, but as I want to say (and repeating!), I like create colorful and peaceful art, to bring more happiness in this too serious world...
To make you more happier... ^-^
Otherwise, I continue to draw for improving my drawing skills (I confess to not being very satisfied with my current creations, the colorpencils used give a somewhat strange colors...), and most importantly, trying to find a personal identity, style to my creations...
Seeking to more imagination, I drew several designs, including very, shall we say, original animals...
i.e. squared blue birds (which I am satisfied with the outcome, although the creative possibilities limited ...), yellow and blue striped cats (inspired by the very funny and cute cats present in most works of the same talented artist, *Raindropmemory...), rounds cows (loosely inspired by the packaging of a food product...)...
In short, the imagination!
I also try to improve my techniques for what is the character creation, which is one of my biggest weaknesses...
I also intend to buy soon watercolor pencils, more better quality colorpencils (currently using standard Reynolds colorpencils, bought on the supermarket) and other types of pencils (currently, I work with B2 and HB pencils), but to do it, should first that I'm getting better...
Oh! For finishing, I've finished the French translation of Nimi Visuals, an application for Microsoft Windows made by =samiwieciekto, now included in the latest version.
Don't hesitate to take a look at this great application, who add 58 graphics effects like jelly windows, sparkling effect, snow... Similar to the very popular Compiz-Fusion module shipped on most GNU/Linux-based operating system!
Good luck to it for the development of this amazing application! ^^
So, here, on this, it is likely that my theme for the latest operating system of Microsoft, Windows 7, will be available, if all goes as planned, not before the end of 2009 (even in January 2010...), just like my next icon set...
I'm currently very busy with my studies, which need lots of time...
However, I think to send some of my attempts at drawing soon...
I want to thank you for all your support, all comments and to bring happiness and good humor on this website!
Thank you! Thank you for everything!
Merry Christmas and happy New Year 2010!
May peace, success and happiness be with you!~☺♥

Don't worry too much about find your own style. It'll come sooner or later when you have more experience, and talking about style,
I think style can be change over the course of time when you inspired by other new art. But in the end you'll know how to mix those inspiration into your own.
Actually, I'm still in search of my own style too.
Good luck with your project!
P.S. Wow, you translate Nimi? (into French?) That's great contribution anyway! (I really want to use it too, but my PC is too slow to use effectively) : (
This theme, pastel and very simple, will clearly target an audience enjoying this kind of theme, which will not please everyone...
I like above all to please others.
Ah yes, I've just started to create my next set of icons, for the moment at a very early experimental stage (made in Photoshop, designed for that visual style).
This is my very first experiment with creating a complete theme for Windows, a bit complex, but I currently didn't encounter any particular problems, with the help of some tutorials found on the web...
The creation of the GUI elements, however, requires lot of free time in Photoshop, which sometimes boring!
Oh! about the style, I've experimented several artistic styles and techniques, however, I've found my way, currently focusing on a colorful and happy style since some months, which seems to have more success than my previous projects.
I'll buy better pencils and watercolor pencils soon, and so try new techniques...
Well, OK, I admit being inspired by some of your creations and style... ^^
Oh! I try to avoid being too ambitious... This already caused me some problems in the past (not so far away, on the previous summer), including anticipated projects that were never completed...
Now, I prefer instead to focus my projects...
On this, I thank you for your very nice comments! This encourages me to continue creating new projects and drawings for improving and finding my own style.~☺
And I'm sorry if I'm too much talkative! Ah ah ah!
Cat's related icon set - sounds very promising, not only cause I like cats =^-^= - but be sure to end it till 2010, Sylvester.
I'm already collecting useful links for browser premiere ;D
This remind me an icon set made by Raindropmemory (yes, again! I'm a great fan of his gallery!), "10000 Cats Icon Set"...
Funny and cute cats (yellow and blue striped cats, yellow cats, multicolored cats...) is a very good and original idea...
Thanks again for this helpful suggestion! ^-^
I can see one of your replies at the bottom of this page ("Ceiling cat see everything!"... Very funny! Ah ah ah!)...
Hmm... Do you use Firefox 3.5.5? Because I've got sometimes a similar problem when I would post a message on a website or forums...
Sorry for this problem!
And there is no problem - moreover I should be apologizing in the first place ^-^'
The "blue lemonade" and the "yellow lemon-meringue pie" pastels colors are really nice... hmm... Sound like adorable!
Seriously, when I see the "yellow lemon-meringue pie" colors used on the GUI elements, I would eat a lemon-meringue pie!
OK, I admit taken inspiration from "On-yoan Meka", a theme for Windows Vista, for creating my theme, especially for using pastels colors and for the minimalist appearance...
But, as I already mentioned, the main colors are yellow and blue, very simple and clear...
In short, the exact opposite of lots of themes currently available for Windows 7 (too much dark or glossy for me...)!
Yes, I'm a bit bored to see lots of dark or glossy themes for all the versions of Windows (Yes, I'm sometimes a bit ironic)...
I really like the default Aero theme, which is, in my opinion, a very beautiful theme (thanks to Microsoft!), and Aqua, the theme used on Mac OS X (probably the most clear, modern and simple theme currently available on computer... I love the GUI designed by Apple on their products, Mac OS X and iPhone OS!), but I would create a very different theme, very simple, minimalist and pastel...
Nice to see your kind words and your suggestions!
I'll consider your ideas on this project! Thanks a lot!~☺
I hope to see cutely drawn themes soon. x3 I'm mixing icons from the last two sets you made. :3
