Peek-a-boo!!~ :iconbummiesplz:
Playing around with textured overlays, I made this random art for testing a different texturing effect, using a fake fabric/yarn style instead of paper...
Just a random and simple idea, a bunny (again!) and a little smiling starry... ^______^

Was this PSD or AI? Could you provide some insight on how you achieved this effect?

I used Photoshop and as .psd for doing it. For the textured aspect, I used fabric textures and applied them to each layers; the best advice is to try each blending modes available in Photoshop for a seamless blend between the textures and the colors used, for example 'multiply', 'soft light', 'screen' or 'luminosity' (this one looks good with most of the colors schemes).
And about the drawing, I used vectors (as opposite of rasterized drawing with brushes tools) by using the pen tool and paths tool.

I hope this will help you. Don't hesitate at all to ask me anything! : )
